MENTOR PROGRAMME

All Upper School students are assigned a Mentor for the school year. The Mentor programme is designed to provide non-academic support and to promote a greater feeling of community within the Upper School. Mentor groups are selected by the school's administration and are based, when possible, on common academic and extra-curricular strengths and interests. The mentee will meet with their mentor group and individually with their mentor once per month. Beginning in 2005-2006, a Mentor comment replaced the homeroom teacher comments on all report cards. Parents should expect an introductory call or e-mail from their child's Mentor during the first few weeks of school.
