At Fieldstone, we believe strongly that students need the opportunity to learn in environments beyond the classroom.
The school has developed a strong tradition of field trips to cultural and curriculum-related destinations. Beginning in 2001/2002, the students of the Upper School have had the opportunity to expand their personal horizons by taking a weeklong trip to various exciting and educational destinations. During one week in late April or early May, Fieldstone's Upper School is closed for traditional classes, and all students are involved in their choice of a local, national or overseas trip. In 2008, Horizons Week is planned for the week of April 28.

In an effort to move forward with the planning of this year¡¯s trips, the school requests that each student fill out the Statement of Interest Form and return it their homeroom teacher 2007 or email your preferences to horizons@fieldstonedayschool.org by Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
